well i need to figure out with tires to get. i ran a 14.7 on stock street tires. i have the 16in ponys but i also have the old spoked 15in rims. i was thinkin gettin the 15s on and puttin 275 nitto triple5r's on the back?

remeber traction causes things to break. If you have a stock car 14.7 is not a horrible time on 16in tires.

Hi there i have a Stock 87 Stang Gt with 3.73 gears and run my 15 inch rims with a pair of 265 M/T ET Street radials, ran very well before i even changed gears and clutch was going and still ran 8.5 in 1/8 with no burn out to warm the tires.

Thats what i run and intend to improve on the times now with a good clutch and gears and a line lock.

Try them out, the stock Stangs are a bit tuff.

Yea well braking it isnt an issue. i would rather it break now and know what i will need to do to it when i really build it up. but yea ive heard alot about the m/t's. whats the prices like for them?
