With the width of the rims you have it would be a waste. I run 275's on my 17X8's with no prob. If I had a pair of 10.5 I'd at least put 295's, nothing narrower on the rear.

For a 9" rim, a 275 is a perfect fit. I went with a 265 since it's for the front, I have heard of a few guys rubbing with 275's up front.

For a 10.5" rim, go with a 315.
