What are some good tires that have lots of traction for street use? The tires I have now dont hook for anything. I dont want drag radials because they are kinda dangerous in the rain.

I've had pretty good luck with Fuzion HRi's and ZRi's. Cheap and good-handling, without sacrificing stickiness.

Yep.....Steeda used to use the Nitto DR's as rain tires on their road race cars.

Another vote on Nitto's...just today I came home in the rain and my Nitto's grabbed the wet ground much better than the horrible Eagle ZRs I had on there.

The KDWS are great in the rain and the treadwear seems to be good so far, but depending on the surface I still can get a little sideways in 2nd with 2.73's. In the wet I actually preferred driving the 'stang over my Escort; the 'scort had four mismatched tires anyway. It's a good tire, but I may get a "three season" tire when they wear out, the "S" in KDWS is pretty much useless for a Mustang.

i had KDWSs too and liked them. I have bridgestone potenza RE960 Pole Positions now and theyre good as well. Id recommend either tire. the KDWSs are probably a little better when its dry out. Rains about the same, and the potenzas might be a little better in snow. Certainly nothing huge though.

Yes, i drive my 5.0 in the snow...

The BFG g-force sports are great in wet and dry conditions. They hook up well and handle excellent.
