Hey guys i have a 91 fox and its got a AOD in it. I want to get a TKO 500. What do I need for the Swap and I want to road race it so what kind of gearing should i go with on the trans? If anyone has done this swap and knows how to do it right any info would help. thanks
Call this guy/company, he knows his stuff about the tko's.
Figure at the very least you need a lakewood bellhousing, clutch, pressure plate, and might as well get a new flywheel.
Also according to promotion, the internal stops on the trans can break off and get chewed up by the trans, so he sell a pretty cool stop plate, which is only like $80.
Be prepared to spend about $2500-3000 to get it going.
