What's up! I'm not a noob to cars, but a noob to Mustangs. Just purchased a 96 GT 5 speed. Unfortunately the tranny is going south so I was thinking of getting the TKO 500. From what I've read so far on the net, I seems that its not a drop-in type deal. Can someone direct me as to:
1. List of ALL components necessary. Doesn't have to be the priceiest stuff either.
2. Estimated prices for total components. Give me ballpark with and without labor.
I was considering tackling the job myself with the help of a few friends, but I'm not sure I have the time.
