To All of You who Did a Ground Up Resto...

That's why I sound deadend Hack Job. I used a couple boxes of Cascade Audio Engineering. 8-10lbs of sound deadening isn't going to slow your car down. It sure makes it ride nice though.

Things I did.....

Got under the dash and tightened everything I could find.
Adjusted the stops on the hatch to ensure there was absolutely NO play in the hatch over bumps.
Removed the door panels and replaced window bushings and adusted to take slack out of window glass vs chanel.

Things to do...dyno mat entire interior of vehicle and that includes under headliner IMO.

Once thats done and the interior is in...get a buddy and chase any stray noises while driving...but honesly there won't be many left.

My car is absolutely not restored, 130k on the clock and it squeeks over everything and from everywhere. Removing the quads didn't make it better either lol but theres a lot of old stuff under there so I'm not surprised.

The roof makes a huge difference. My black notch had the factory sound deadening under the headliner and it was quite when I **** the doors. MY yellow notch doesn't have the factory sound deadening under the head liner because it was all deteriorated so I took it out. When I slam the doors on that car is echos.
