To shave or not to shave the bumpers

Trying to decide if I should shave the bumper bolts tomorrow.. I already cut up and fit both bumpers tight.. I like the way the shaved bumpers look. I think it make me easy to just weld the brackets to the bumper and fill the holes on the back bumper.

Strangely, I had to add 3/8" to the drivers side to make the fit even between the sides.. I thought about raising up the drivers side, but then it shows the bottom of the quarter extension.. these bumpers never seem to fit right.

I like the idea of shaving the bolts as well.
