my combo is below in my sig.

i'm running stock injectors which should be fine for my combo. after puching some numbers, my combo needs 19.1 injectors at a 85% duty cylce.

Also running a stock MAF which should be fine too. if my calculations are correct, i should be at 768.18 kg/hr. stocker is 835 kg/hr max correct?

i drove my car for a couple of months without a tune and never went full throttle on it yet, just to be safe. i was afraid i would be maxing out my injectors for this combo before.

well the car is in storage for a few more months and my plan is to get a Tweecer R/T. but until then should i be worried about how i drive my car?

it feels fine with no hiccups or stalls.

will i be ok with the stock tune?

thanks for the help

At stock fuel pressure, you do not have enough inj for that combo.

See what Ford did with the Cobra

You are certainly producing more airflow than it

IMHO, I do not believe you are gonna peg the stock maf.

Of course, to keep it, you will need pcm access.

If you have an afpr, up the pressure until you get the Tweecer

If you don't have one, don't waste your money on one as it is
not needed with the Tweecer.

i got a kirban sitting in my closet to put in. i'll put that on when the car comes out and crank it up to 41psi. sound good? i'll try to get in on a cheap group dyno run and do some WB pulls to see where i'm at.

i got my eye on an tweecer R/T that i want to get but thats almost useless for me untill i get a wideband.

i have a Tweecer related question.

if i keep the stock injectors and maf, i wont have to play with the maf transfer correct?

thanks for the help

If by chance, that Kirban is brand new ..............

I'd not use and sell it as such for the greatest price possible
and
Put that money in a wide band kitty fund

You do not have enough inj to support that combo

You do have plenty of maf to support the airflow of that combo

Big difference

The maf transfer is one of those things you always hear all about
but
It ain't all that big of a deal to dial one in
besides
You'll have to tweec it a bit for your particular combo anyway

I'd just load in the j4j1 cal file as it is already setup for 24's
and
It has other goodies which work very well with h/c/i combos

One other good thing about the j4j1 is its maf transfer curve
will be very well suited to your combo with the oem maf

ok, thats what i'll do.

i put my kirban up for sale locally. for what i paid for it which is a steal.

i'm keeping my eyes open for a PLX m-300 but there hard to find at a good deal.

i'm getting a set of 24 lb injectors and then load in the cobra j4j1 bin. I PM'ed Stanger007 because i have an aode tranny and he did the tweecing to make the j4j1 tune and aode work together.

thanks for the help.
