Today's Daily Problem Is........

Ok tell me if you guys have ever heard this happen. Last night I went to the gas station and put 20 bucks in my tank. I start the car up and the C.E.L. blinks 4 times and the RPM's shoot up to 2500 or so without me touching anything. Believe me, I moved my foot away from the pedal to make sure. Crazy Huh... or am I missing something?

Well, I didnt check to be honest. It went off after it blinked. But I thought it was weird that it would blink then turn off and the RPMs shoot up so high. I'll check the codes and see what I get tonight, I'll post back.

I was just wondering if you guys ever heard of this kind of thing happening by itself......

Maybe it got shorted? LOL the probability of those two prongs getting shorted is like 1/100000

Yea but he also has a tranny swap, so there has been more than usual work done in the area of computers and wires.

Blinking 4 times is exactly what you will see when you go into KOER self test. I wonder if there is something at the test terminal.....Like someone forgot to take out the paper clip, and it just finally made contact.
