I wasnt sure what to expect but they made a nice difference. Ive only driven it 1 day so far but it seems stiffer now. I can feel the stiffness going over bumps but its a good kind of stiffness. The thing I like the best is body roll has been greatly reduced. Ill have to take it out on some twistes today for the real test.

Great. I did the same thing but havent drove it yet.
How did you manage to torque the rear trunk bolts??
They say 30 pound of torque but i cant do it considering i cant hold the shock protector hard enough. It keeps turning with the bolt.
I left it like that but i think the bushing is too crushed.

What have you done???

Thx

I had them put in since I dont have the tools or a place to work on it. Plus I hate working under cars on jackstands. It freaks me out for some reason.

I have a place that has a guy who is really good at suspension work. He goes that extra mile to do it right.

I was very happy with my blues...I installed them with my Steeda Springs/UCA/LCA's and the car is like a train now. My vert is fully loaded and still corners like a champ. I would to see how this setup would work on a stripped down coupe.

Dude, you slip an open ended wrench on the top of the shock shaft...then tighten with a box wrench on the nut....no holding the dust guard

I had the blues (the Ford OEM Bullitt ones) and IMO they were far inferior to my Bilsteins now.

Ford OEM Bullitt shocks/struts are valved differently. But yeah, I do agree Bilsteins are far superior! Tokico HP's are probably my top pick for "value" performance shocks/struts though!!!

I had Bilsteins on my 01 and they were great but then again cost more. Traction kind of suffered because the back was so stiff. I could leave 20+ foot patches shifting into 2nd.

The standard blues and the Bullitts are not the same are they?

The Bullitts are just Tokiko Blues valved to Ford spec.
