I saw some pics a while back while they were building the cars for the movie. The Shelby replica is using a Nissan engine. As if the plot wasn't gay enuff. WTF?

Now now, if you had the mentality of a 12 year old and had no clue as to how cars really worked you would probably enjoy it.

How do we know it has been converted to 2WD?

that's exactly what I was thinking. All the morons the first two movies bred will be watching this and jumping in their hondas, pushing corners before they even leave the movie theatre parking lot.

lets hope they only wipe themselves out.

The preview in the theatre shows an Evo VIII drifting out of a corner. With the way it moves, it looks like a rwd car to me. I could be wrong, so watch for it when you go see the movie on opening day (because I know you will).

AWD cars can do tricks that look suspiciously like RWD. Especially with the center differential unlocked. It's even possible with a little bit of technique to get the rear wheels to roast on an STI...

Oh man, another movie to make us imports looks so "cool"... I give it 3 months and the 10 o clock news top story will be about the Portland drift problem.....

I saw the preview tonight and the drving stunts looked pretty cool, but I know they will just ruin the rest of the movie...

At least performance cars are still cool... We all could be driving electric cars

Stang with a skyline motor, THATS SICK!! :SNSign: :SNSign:

Trust me... you don't have to be going all that fast to slide the rear out. Ask Ed...

I was at the movie theater the day the first "The fast and the furious" movie came out. I was watching a diffrent movie, but they got done at the same time. After the movie was out all the ricers were so excited they were trying to do burn offs in the parking lot. It was pretty pathetic.

it was at the mountlake 9 theater in shoreline
