DUUUUUDE, I saw those new neon plug wires you got... those add like 20 horse!

There's a guy at my work from the fart-can constituency who was telling me that his new plug wires were going to add I forget how many, but it was like "30, 40 horse." He was telling me how I should get some. I nodded sagely and said, "Yeah, plug wires that'd add 30 horse would be great."

So my secret is out :) The new motor will not be up and running for a few months. I have everything I need, just not the time. 8's are the goal, but who knows how long it will take to work out the bugs. This season we will be running the TH400, I thought about putting in the glide over the winter, we will see.

I saw Tokyo Drift on Tuesday at a sneak preview. It was entertaining, but lame in spots. The mustang was GAY, but the rest of the cars were OK. If you guys watch the movie, check out the exhaust on the stang, NICE :nice:

I know it seems like the ricers are taking over, but keep in mind there are a few of us cool import owners out there. you know, I have way more domestic cars than imports, haha..

Check out the movie, the car scenes were pretty cool.

Tim

So your sig says you own a typhoon and an F-body? Congrats on purchasing a mullet-mobile (just kidding). Too bad you guys can't dyno the typhoon in-house. Will you take it to torque freaks?:stick: Have fun with the new toys and good luck with the supra! I guess you guys will show Ralph at Ground Zero how to build an automatic tranny supra that can actually make a clean run!

I also saw the new movie and am not ashamed by any means. I will let those that wanna associate thier lives with Brokeback crap go see thier films, and anything to do with cars I will see. The driving sequences in this one were way better than the others and it is worth seeing for entertainment value. Are you going to go see Cars instead??? Dont knock it till ya watch it.:nice:

Ok...ok... after a particularly bad week, including cataract surgery, a dislocated shoulder, a sprained ankle, a busted knee cap, and my grandmother dying, I was desperate for some entertainment and paid full price to see this flick... And you know what... it was worth every dime after this sucky week. Driving scenes and their filming are quite good. And this F&F movie is actually not terrible, like the previous 2 trash fests. The cars are still gaudy, the acting is still mediocre, and the plot is still lacking, but as a car guy I sometimes am willing to forgive that stuff if the car scenes are worthy, and in this film, they are.

Now, during a normal week, I'd say go see a matinee.
