Well, I saw it the other day. lol

Before the movie, I wasn't really expecting much. Just another stupid Fast and the Furious movie with cheesy actors and riced out cars. But let me tell you, after the movie I had a totally different opinion. It was amazing. Quite honestly one of the best movies I have ever seen. The directors did a great job with it. They put you right in the middle of Japan. I really can't explain it, but after the movie it felt like I knew all of the characters on a personal basis and they'd be waiting for me outside wanting to drift. LOL With that said, the actors were really good and that girl... I can't stop thinking about her. lol

Now about the cars... They were all amazing. No rice, no civics, just a pure japanese import scene at it's best. If you are a car enthusiast, you will truely appreciate these automobiles and look past the fact that they aren't american muscle. One car that caught my eye throughout the whole movie was the orange and black veilside rx7, a breathtaking car.

I already knew about the Mustang with the import swap before the movie and I was totally outraged. But when you watch the movie, you'll understand why they had to do it. Oh and the end has a pretty good surprise. (if you've seen it, don't spoil it).

Go out and see this movie, it's awesome.

I'll wait for DVD last thing I need is some idiot trying to drift across the parking lot, and almost hit me. Causing me to drag him out the car and tape his mouth to my exhaust then proceed to launching at 5g's .

The F&F movies are a must-see for the local car club I'm in, we already know it's a large part BS, but that makes it all the more enjoyable, traditionally I take my Bike to the theatre, means I can get in and out quickly, avoiding the dickheads in the carpark, plus if any of them have mad street racing ideas afterwards, I don't even need to change out for first to blow 'em all away.

a few of my freinds and i went and saw it. it was the worst movie i have ever seen. they said lets race for pinks a few times, Oooo Snaps he's got that Nawwwwwwsssssss. Also when your trying to get away from a person thats chasing you in a car you dont drift down the street and around every car that passes you. i'll admit they did have some skilled drivers in the movie but thats about it.

Check out this quote from the article John posted above .....

In The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift, the fiction is that the hero transplants the powertrain from a Nissan Skyline GT-R into an old Mustang in just one day so he can take on the Drift King that night and prove himself the greatest drifter of them all. In real life, five of the six Mustangs built by the Tokyo Drift production team had American V8s under their hood for reliable power production during filming. Nothing beats a big-inch American V8 when it comes to making power.

Yeah i saw it last night. It was not as bad as 2F2F but still made me want to projectile vomit a few times. I just still dont quite get the drifting. Like i understand that it takes tremendous skill to slide your car sideways accurately and smoothly. But other than that i dont see why people do it. Its not really about going fast. Instead of drifting around those corners or between cars in the chase. If they just would have take the corners tight and kept on the inside track they would have gone way the hell faster.

I'm waiting for the day that I have to beat the bajesus out of some ricer drifting into one of my quarter panels. Just yesterday here @ the shop right in front of us some idiot tried to drift and hit a gutter and almost lost it into another car, could have been a serious accident. Lots of ricer tuner shops around us, luckily my car's safe and at home most of the time.

haha I watch a lot of movies.

I dunno, but maybe because I've always wanted to go to Japan and see hot japanese girls, that's probably why I liked this movie so much.
