Took my MAF to clean it, didnt look dirty...

But I cleaned it any way and it made a HUGE difference. And with a CAI it is so easy to clean. Ill do it like every other month. lol

And mine doesnt have the T20 tamper proof torx heads, its just two phillips screws.

Clean Maf = Best mod ever... my car feels completely different

A PO probably did away with your Tamper proof Torx fasteners.

Nice work.

On my stock 94 maf I took a dremel bit to the safty part (VERY CAREFULL) so I could use a trx screwdriver.

cleaning the maf is a very good idea.

wow thats a lot of work hahahahahahaha when i bought my c&l cai it came with a bit i was excited and its a good brand that has a lifetime warranty in my dads store

I bought a set of tamper proof bits to take my Mustang emblem out of the grill a while back, so I wasnt worried about being able to get it off, but when i saw it was just a regular screw, I was like "Ok, lets go."

you will have to keep up on maitence now once you clean its its like armoralling your dash it seems to really collect dust twice as thick twice as fast
