Took new car to the track

Just bought a 97 for my daily but i just HAD to take it to the track and put her through her paces.Iv just recentlly learned how to drive a 5-speed (about 5-6 months ago) im my moms 90 jeep wrangler with a 5-speed that grinded every gear cause the syncros were shot.I drove it alittle but i still cant shift all that fast.What do you guys think...I pulled a 15.06 out of it and the times would have gotten better if id done a few more passes.Its stock except exhaust.

thats pretty decent....you could shave off a couple of .1's with some practice, but thats pretty solid, what were your 60' times? trap speed?

thats about right for a stock NPI

I think that is a pretty respectable time considering... You can pretty well figure that with a little practice you will be in the 14's which is right on for a nearly stock NPI GT... Good Job and congrats on the new car!

yeah they usually run around 14.7-9 stock.

i think 13.9's mid 14's? maybe a little lower
