hmmmmmmmmmmm
who built it
never started
9:1 compression - very low- how did he come by that.
28oz balanced in a roller b- you'll need a matching flywheel
crane cam with low lift and rpm range
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/crn-443941/overview/make/ford
RPM Range: 1,800 to 5,400 rpm; Duration @ .050" lift: 216/228 (int/exh); Valve lift: .484"/.512" (int/exh); Good low end torque, smooth idle, daily driving, towing, mildly modified.;
AFR decent heads but the 64CC will lower your compression more. what springs on the heads
Not a fan of high volume oil pumps on most stockish motors. No reason for them other than to pump more oil out of the pan faster. If you drain back holes can't handle it then you accomplish nothing.
High Volume Oil Pump

Overall, not my choice in parts- dont know why the non roller cam, crank, balancer,
Certainly not getting you 450 hp

How much does he want for it.

As far as the Pistons that must be a very old pn because I can't find any hard specs on them besides some posts where guys said they used them and it's a low comp flat top piston

It seems like it was built obviously for an older car. all the earl stuff on it that would need to be changed. brackets, timing cover and such.

I would never buy a motor without seeing it run or taking it apart. Unless I can see all the parts or he has receipts, I assume it is stock internals and would price it as such. You have no clue how this was assembled or with what parts. It sounds like a bunch of parts thrown together.

Rather than chasing unicorns, why not build what you want the first time and be done with it, knowing it is built right.

ESP If spending the money to do it right isn't an issue ! I have done this a few times 3 to be exact . The first motor I bought lasted a month and broke the crank . I paid 1500 for it

So no more rebuilding the bottomend? You're scatter braining on us again...
Did you get your trouble codes worked out? They'll follow you with the new top end.

Lol. Definitely scattered out. I agree. It's hard though when I have so many options lol. And of course I am in a hurry to have it going. @addermk2 at this point I completely understand.. As for trouble codes the tps code/ is only one I can't fix. Meter was reading
.86 volts so it's in range. Goin to get a new one. Buuuuut....... Another option I have is there is a 302 5.0 on local craogslist out of a explorer for 600. So again I have another option. I could simply get this motor, swap out mine, put this one in and have the car at least in shape to tune and run. Maybe slow my hurried butt down and can rebuild my motor from bottom up knowing exactly what has been done to it and who has done what. Anyway. Yea I get it. I'm all over the place. You guys give me options and ideas and those spin off into other things and I get scattered. Apologies if offended. Not intended. I just want it to be correct but I also get in a rush. I jump on here to get an experienced opinion or two and end up apparently pissing people off lol
