Top quality detailing products

I'll be honest, that link with those photos don't impress me at all.
The only image that I thought was amazing was the index main page photo:

that is gorgeous
but the rest of those images in his gallery section suck.
plain and simple.

i always got incredible results from the 3 step meguiars stuff.

Actually those products are top notch products and used by many in high end detailing.

Caldwell - Detailing isn't about the product, it is about the preparation. Someone with detailing skills can make a car look good with a $1.50 wax.

Zaino is expensive stuff, especially since most people use 4+ layers. I have never tried it myself as I've always been a fan of a sealant topped with a carnuba; poorboys and clearkote are usually my favorites. I have really been wanting to try Jeff's products though, the pictures I've seen look amazing (like the black Lexus).

im debating between ordering from there or getting the zaino kit.... what do you guys think?

my decision was between the two as well. i emailed each and jeffs email completely blew zaino out of the water. zaino just sent like a 2 sentence email telling me what i should buy. jeffs on the other hand gave me a paragraph of some options and explained what i needed to do the job and how the different products worked.

i based alot of my decision on customer service :nice:

I've heard the same about Jeffs cutomer service very informative. I've actually heard the same about Ziano so I'm a little surprised. Since I'm a really big fan of Klasse All-in-one I would love to try Jeffs Prime Strong.

With the Zaino product you pretty much have to use all the product to get the long term durabilty and look. Where as Jeffs you only need Prime Strong to clean and strip the paint then use his Acrylic Jett to get the look (assuming the paint has no defects) and durabilty. With both product lines you will only need to wash the car and drive for at least 3-4 months which is basicly what I do now before needing to do it all over again.

maybe i was just an exception

i still hear and see good things about zaino. just from my own personal email experience, i was not impressed.

btw whystang, do you think i might get better results if i used this stuff with a buffer rather than hand polishing?

You can get better results with a buffer since the speed and polishing pad will "Jewel" the paint if you will. It's also just faster with a buffer. You do get good results doing it by hand as well but you can only do so well. Think of it as polishing rims sure you can hand polish them, but Mothers Power ball hooked up to a drill does it better and faster.

well i got the

prime strong
and
acrylic jett

,the other day and it was raining today so after it rained I try the stuff on the pass. side door first the prime then the acrylic jett heres some pics don't mind the big scrape.:nonono:
