Hello everyone, I just bought a 2006 GT, 20,000 miles! I LOVE IT! This is my third GT 86 to 95 to this. Holy mod motor batman! These cars are fantastic! So far I've added a Flowmaster axleback and tinted the windows. I've got an intake/tuner in-route and I'm itching for my next mod.

Which brings me to this. I don't know if I'm posting this in the correct area so apologies if I'm not. I'm looking for wheel ideas for a Torch Red car. I'm leaning towards 20" Torq-Thrust M's in anthracite but I also like OEM 18" GT500's. So if you Torch Red guys and girls could post your aftermarket wheel pics that be great, I would really appreciate it.

Mineis an 05 GT Torch Red, I wen twith a lot of Black accents and Blecak 18" Bullet (torq thrust type) wheels. I removed (or painted black) all of the chrome from the outside of my car.

So obviously my opinion is Black wheels.

I went black as well. I went with FR500's with a polished lip. 18x9 front and 18x10 rear with a fat tire (295/45-18)

I would love to see a rear picture of you car to see how wide those 295/45/18s look if you have one....

I don't have any pics but my 05 GT online yet but it is the Torch Red and I went with 18" Chrome Sport Muscle Tach , with 255/45 Bridgestone RE760's. You can view the wheels on your car at Tire Rack - Your performance experts for tires and wheels if you select a mustang, etc.. I absolutely love the classic muscle look of these wheels, and the tires seem to feel like I now have more tire than the car needs.

Realize that bigger rims = more weight (mine are about 6.5lbs per corner heavier), less mpg, and a reduction in ride quality. I put these on this spring along with a JLT CAI and 91 Race tune and dropped 2.5mpg's with same driving style.

Subscribing to see more wheel pics with a red car. I need to get new wheels, but can't decide what to get. I also can't decide on a side stripe, but that's a whole different topic.

I would say the Stealth Black FR500 Wheel and Tire Package CruzinConcepts has, its like 1,299.00+shipping which would be like 125.00.

That's what I'm going with once I stop spending all my money on other mods, hope to be able to get them somewhere around June 2011
