Torn between pure boost, or a little spray and some boost

I'm sure some of you are familiar with my posts at this point I finally came to the conclusion that a KB was right for me (04 Mustang GT) and after much debate and looking down various paths (with MUCH guidance from the stangnet members ) I told my dad I was set, cash in hand and ready to place the order he says "Hey, why don't we just toss some spray on your car and put a paxton novi on mine" He owns a 1969 Mustang fastback, with a 302

I hate him for this, I have torn apart the web searching high and low to seek the answers to come up with a final solution to my dilemma, and now he throws this into my lap I love the older cars and they do look unique. However now I feel I am back to sqaure one

Anyone every drive some old school muscle with boost?

I am sure his car would be fun boosted, but I bet yours would be more fun boosted and his would be more fun sprayed. Id. def pt the KB on your car. Look at all the creature comforts you have with all the new technology etc. Put the KB on your car and tell him to spray his car!

Yea thats what i would tell him too. You'd benefit more from the KB.

you dont have to refill a blower

spray is great as a second power adder but i wouldnt run it over a KB!!

I'd run the whole deal, tiny pulley and a big shot. Hell, before I picked up my D1SC, I was going to put a 100 shot on the little P1SC. Don't need too now.

how about you go kb and then spray thats what im doing lol. it sucks filling bottles though everytime you wanna be fast. been there done that. i sometimes used 2 bottles a week lol

Stacking power adders is fun. My 2.3 was running 20 psi and a 40 shot. Now, the boost is at 22psi and I'm looking to spray an 85 shot this summer. Booted from the track for no roll bar? We shall see.
