Torque Converter Nuts How Do I Tighten????

So my 1999 Ford Mustang i finally got the new engine and the transmission is bolted to the engine but my torque converter nuts the only way to access them is thru the starter hole there is no room to fit a socket or anything to get to it? am i missing something? My block plate gets in the way of where the bolt is.

So you don't see an access hole in the block on the other side? Sometimes there's a plastic plug covering it. Sometimes not.
