What stall TC are you guys running in stock AOD's. I'm running an Explorer motor'd '88 at about 290hp/290 tq.

???

Pulling the 5-speed out this weekend and putting in AOD, just looking for ideas. Was thinking either a T-Bird Super Coupe, or a 2400 stall B&M. Anyone have ideas?

i would think 3500 would be ever so slightly high, i mean your powerband isnt realy around 3500rpms is it?

stay away from b&m converters you get what you pay for with converters. plan on spending 450+. Call Andre at the link above he can answer all your questions. with his converter i dropped .60 in the 1/4 mile versus stock converter.
