Torque Specs? (HEAD SWAP-Y303's)

Ok so im gettin ready to install my GT-40 Turbo Swirl heads (y-303) and i need the Torque specs for the heads and the intake (is it different because of aluminum heads?)

and what should i use to block off the smog pump passages? bolts? or allen head plugs? what size?

You could easily find this information with a search...


Intake manifold bolts
18-21 ft-lbs

Head bolts (assuming using good hardware like ARP bolts)
80 foot-lbs for the longer ones (lubed with 30w motor oil)
70 foot-lbs for the shorter ones (threads coated with teflon sealant)

yea i got ARP's and their assemly lube and thread sealer. wat about the rockers?

if there pedistal i think its 22-24 lbs

ok, sry but yet another q guys... should i just torque the head bolts down, right to the spec or build up to 70/80 ft lbs? what should be the sequence? is it like boltin down stick headsbut with this extra torque sequence?
