Hey, so lately i've been really wanting a turbo V8 car. Especially when i saw those numbers the hellion coyote put down on 6 psi of boost... but anyways, since i dont want to turbo the coyote, because it's fairly new and its my daily driver for now and the mt-82 is fail. I would like to ditch the paxton on my 2v (which putting the belt on is a pain in the ass, and belt shred issues are killing me) and go with a 76mm turbo. Most likely im going to get the hellion "tuner" kit with the 76mm billet wheel turbo with the ball bearing option and a bassani catted y-pipe Minus the suspension stuff. So it'll be around $5090 for that, plus a set of turbo cams and new valve springs for $900, a new maf for ~$400 and then bigger injectors ~$400. So thats around $7k for a badass turbo kit creating both an excellent street car and a drag car.

The other option is to keep my paxton. Add an paxton intercooler $2000, 8 rib pulley setup ~$600, MAF ~$350, bypass valve ~$400, boost pipe ~$250, AFM 82 cams and valve springs ~$900 for around $4500 and have a kinda fun street car and a nice drag car, but with barely any torque (compared to the turbo).

My dad said he'd take all the paxton/exhaust stuff from me for his 04' mustang so i got that taken care of. Id rather not sell anything, because i wouldnt get anything for it. So, im just throwing around ideas on what to do. I would love to get an 03/04 cobra, but id rather pay for that in full so i can get the perfect one when it pops up. So most likely next summer. Hopefully, if my job goes well.

My goal for the 04' is to run a high/mid/low 10 sec run on the 18" saleens and then drive home with zero drive ability issues.

I just want some ideas and thoughts from you guys.. and please dont flame me for anything The 5.0 is just probably going to get longtubes and some suspension stuff (future mods in sig) so it's nothing ridiculous. I dont want to screw around with that and its delicate trans.
