Hi everyone. My Show car 85.5 SVO was just totaled. The front end was hit and both front fenders were crinkled, winshield cracked.

My questions is this. The insurance company said I could buy it back for $1200.

The car has the following :
6 New Red konis (under 50 miles !)
3" down pipe, new 2.5" dual Magnaflow Exhaust (100 miles )
Centerforce Clutch Dual Friction (100 miles)
Ford Racing Springs
Beautiful Leater Recaros (not really any rips)
A strong motor and tight trans (40k miles on each with no damage)
Good By-wing
Excellent Steering wheel and OE Hurst shift knob
Hurst Shift boot is an 8 out of 10.
Completely OE otherwise.
All the interiour trim is show. Even the spare tire and tonnoue cover.

So my question is this.

Should I part it out? Or build a "Race car" and part out the guts. The hood, both fenders and front bumper need replacing and the passenger frame needs pulling out a little and bumper supports. All in all I figure $1500 to repair for racing.

Must decide in 4 hours ! ! !

I'd try to buy it back for less money, that's pretty high. Either way, I think the best bet would be to buy it back and sell it to someone that has the time and $$$ to turn it back into a nice svo. If you want a race car, use a regular mustang.
