I have about a quater sized paint chip(down to the metal and it looks like crap!!) by my antenna and I went to the autozone to see if i could get a paint to match but I couldn't seem to find our color. What is the actually name for our dark green? I think last time i picked up dark jewel green or something like that and it was too light. Any help would be great. I know I really should get it fixed properly but I don't have the cash to do this at the time. Thanks!

This is why im glad I have a few buddies who work in the Ford dealerships body shop..

Free paint.

But i have never been able to find any DFG touch up paint.

I know there was some site you could buy it though. But I have no idea what it was. They would custom mix it for you.

at our parts store we have a machine you place on the car and it takes flashes of the paint from 3 test spots to get a perfect match or you could use the paint code and we could custom mix it and put it in a spray can for you .....other parts stores around you guys dont do that??

If you go to the parts store or even wal-mart and get the Dupli-color 2in1 Scratch fix stuff you should find a Ford color called Dark Tourmaline Metallic. Right under that name it has NA, NB, ND which are the paint codes. I used this to touch up a few spots on my 95 DFG and it matched perfect. Hope this helps.

I went back to a store tonight and asked one of the guys if they knew of anywhere that does this, turns-out there is a huge parts place on the north side of town that does just this. Looks like I'm in business.
