Well it's been years since I posted in stang net back when I still had my 2.3 turbo fox body sweet baby of a car. Sold it and week later guy blows a piston :bang: . I digress though. I have a V-6 mustang now, that I use for a daily driver and well was getting the itch for some extra modding again. I have 8k I can throw at it with some mod's like a procharger, exhaust, chip, few body mod's (I just like the mach 1 stuff) and the like. My question though and I know this may hurt since it's not a mustang but should I go for it or....buy this sweet 280z being sold near me and just put the 5.5k left over to build that up. That would have to include engine work, paint, interior re upholstered, possible re wiring(not sure yet). Final goal for the Z would be to grab the body kit from the attached pic.

I have thought about the GT and yes it would be a more logical step. They even have a Mach 1 down the street at the Ford Dealer that has been catching my eye aside from its ugly color's, and a buddy from work is selling his 89 GT sweet ride turbo'd for 2 grand would take another 4 to get it up and going reliable minus the 10mpg hwy it gets. Just I can't get myself to let this one go. Call it being sentimental? As for the 280Z my Dad had one when I was younger and I remember riding in it to school and the look on his face when he would get it going. Would be nice to ride home one year with it and see his reaction. Ah forget it I'll buy it and keep the stang as a DD and the Z as project. Anyway if anyone lives in the Melbourne FL area and wants a 89 GT could get you in touch with a guy thats willing to unload his car.
