just wondering if out cars have a tps or does it just use the iac valve. my car like to die right after i start it and sometimes is a little slow on take off i have done a tune up and it helped a little but not a whole lot.
the throttle position sensor tells the computer to spray extra fuel when it sees you opening the throttle, and tells the computer to stop reading the oxygen sensor and disable emission controls at wide open. That's all... The IAC lets the computer control the engine idle speed and compensate for load like A/C.
From what you said the TPS may be bad, but it is a 40 dollar part
