Track and tires

Iam going to the track soon, and my friend just gave me a pair of ET Streets, 26x10.50 to use.. I think those will break my rear though on my car.. Is there a good chance they will break the rear on the launch?

You can't be certain that you will break anything, but they are wide and you might bog if you try launching lower than you should because you're scared of breaking something.. If this is your first time why not just try the street tires? That's what I would do just to have some fun and not worry. I doubt you would break your rear, but it's better to be safe. Good luck.
