Ok, I visited the track this weekend. I ran it twice since it was a little busy

Run one (I don't even want to post. I bogged it off the line and was slow into second)

R/T: .784
60ft: 3.044 :rlaugh:
330ft: 6.738
1/8mi: [email protected]
1000ft: 12.204
1/4: [email protected]

Now, before you laugh, I wasn't sure how to launch this car. I launched it like I did my 5.0 on Street tires. I was running on Nitto Extreme's 275/40/17. It bogged bad.

Run 2

R/T: .776
60ft: 2.591
330ft: 6.190
1/8mi: [email protected]
1000ft: 11.674
1/4mi: [email protected]

Now. One more problem. My car blew steam through the vents and had a smoke trail behind my car right as I passed the traps. It was antifreeze. When I let off, it stopped. I pulled into the pits, no leaks. I stopped the car, no leaks. The temp was fine. I popped the hood, no spray or leaks.

Does anyone know what this could be? It runs great, no foam or milky fluid, so it isn't a head gasket. I dunno.

Also, what are the right shift points and launch rpms for these cars? Right now I just have exhaust. Stock Gears, Stock everything. Thanks guys!

What was your climate control set on? If the steam came out the vents that usually means a heater core, unless you were set to vent fresh air in.

Was the trail out the pipes or from the engine compartment?

I am pretty sure it was off. It is weird. I am sure it was out of the engine compartment. It is fine now, it hasn't smoked or leaked since??
