Tranny Cooler Install

Im going to be ordering a 24k bm cooler for my 2001 automatic soon. I was wondering did you guys bypass the stock system or run them one after the other (stock-->cooler-->back to tranny). Please explain both sides to me Im wondering which would be better for my car. Its got 4.10 gears. Im looking for minimal fabricating. Im just looking for basically a bolt in to help my transmission last longer. Are they straightforward like that?

If you guys have pics of your own install please post them or PM me to email to me if you wouldnt mind. I need help/ideas of routing the lines cleanly, etc.

I have looked over and read that. That's whats giving me the overall idea of the project, but I was wondering how you guys routed your stuff... just cause some of his pictures arent too clear.

Bypass the stock one. Some argue you need it to warm up the fluid. The transmission will warm up the fluid for you. In high 20s to low 30s ambient temperature, my transmission fluid temp will get to 120s in 10 minutes, and stay there.
