Ok so my friend had to go out of town for orientation for a new job and it's a 5 hour drive anyways he took his 88 lx 5 speed. He said he was going to pass someone and he went to shift into 3rd and it grinded loudly so he backed off. Then he went to shift into third again and it wouldn't even go in so as of right now he said he only has 1st 2nd and 5th. I was wondering if anybody had an idea as to what might be wrong and how to fix it.
