Trans ? 3550

I'm sending my WC t-5 back to the guy who I bought it from and getting a 3550. I should be able to use the same driveline right? I know I need a diff. bellhousing, if you got one let me know. The 3550 has a 10 spine input too if I remeber right so the king cobra clutch stays in. Do I need a diff. crossmember? Any info on this would be great.

Thanks,
Matt

ok so I just did some searching, maybe should of done that first. Looks like I can get a ford racing crossmember for about 60-70 bucks to bolt right in the fox for the 3550. Bellhousing is pretty straight forward, and my stock driveshaft should work, lol Looks like I got everything under control.

If I've missed anthing let me know, or if you got some used parts let me know.

You can actually modify your crossmember really easily. You just take out the rubber bushings (they are two piece and pop out really easy) and grind the welds holding the sleeves. This way the sleeves will move back and forth. Push the sleeves to the other end, throw a couple of tack welds on and replace the bushings. Nothing to it really and alot cheaper than $70

You'll need a new shifter too. If you don't weld, you can still get your old crossmember to work with some grinding.
