TRANS AM VS SS

I was racing a trans am the new one and beat it. i was wondering does a SS have the same power as a Ws6 Trans am? If not how much does a SS have?

they are identical in power ratings. They both have identical chassis and drivetrain.

For some reason though, I remember reading in Car and Driver a few years back when the 30th anniv. T/A came out that the Trans Am topped out at 163 governed and the SS was drag limited to 159 or so.

All the same crap under astheticly different hoods! Both make the same power, and both are worn out at 50K miles!

I always liked it when I watched somebody start up their LS1 and blue smoke comes pouring out of the pipes. Great quality valve seals GM uses.

Yeah...

But when they stomp on the gas and you see all the blow-by black smoke puff out of the exhaust...the smoke does that swirling, tornado-like trick and it does look pretty cool
