trans problem t-5

I was wondering if any of you guys will have some suggestions as to what i should do? All of my gears are pretty hard to get into. Fifth gear grinds if i shift normally. I hafto really take my time puting it into fifth so it will not do so. I have changed the fluid and the level is fine. Should i buy a rebuilt? or should i have it rebuilt or should i put new sincros in my self if that is the prob? Thanks

Check your clutch adjustment. Then check your engine to transmission alignment. If that checks out, it is time for a transmission rebuild. If you have to tar down your transmission, you are looking for damaged forks and or synchronizers.

most common cause would be a clutch problem...not disengaging all the way. where does the clutch engage?

Do i just take off the cover that is over the cable where it conects to the trans and adjust whats inside. This is my first manual so i am just learning.
