Trans Removal

Can you remove an AOD trans in 91 5.0 without removing the exhaust? Cats seem to be in the way of getting to all of the necessary bolts.

OD is out, shifts fine 1, 2, 3 and then just spins.

I dont have experience with the AOD but i would imagine it needs to be removed

I had to remove my h-pipe. Hope you got a extra hand cause i sure could have used one when i installed mine. The only thing i hate is putting it back in and the top blot.

Yes you definitely have to take the h-pipe off.
