I have a tremec 3650 out of my mustang and want to know if you can swap one of these into a 67 coupe with a 302? Does anyone make the correct bellhousing? Who is a good supplier of transmission swap kits for old mustangs?

Integral bell or removable? If it's removeable, the SROD/Tremec ball fits or an early Stang bell with a 1" spacer to accomodate the longer input shaft.

If it is a 3650 the bellhousing is not removeable similar to how the T45 is compared to the T5. The 3550 is the same as the 3650 but has a removeable bellhousing if that is the case.

The bell housing looks removable. It has 15 bolts inside it and a parting line on the outside of the case. And it is a 3650. It came out of my bullitt. But it doesnt look like anyone has attempted this exact swap so untill i hear otherwise ill just scrap that idea.

OK, now you're making sense. The transmission came off a Mod motor. I was under the impression the bell was cast integrally with the rest of the transmission case. The Tremec's I was referring to have 4 external bolts that fasten the two together.

Not sure but thought the 3650 and the t56 look dimensionally the same.
