do you think a 5 speed from a ranger would work in a 5.0?lol..i just want it to go right now ill get a better trans later.

Pretty sure the ranger T5 are the same as the 4cyl mustang T-5 tranny.

Rangers never had a T5... they were made by Toyo Kogyo, and can be distinguished by low torque capacity (lol) and by a bottom cover plate that is at an angle, the bottom of the trans is not flat.
