does any other of fords vehicles have a tranny mount that is the same as the mustang II v-8 4speed mount. the only one i can find local is for the 4 banger and that takes 3-5 days to arrive. performance catalogs list them for the v-8 but i was hoping to find one locally so i can change it out tomorrow night.

any help would be appreciated................kcobra302

You could drive to CT Mustang from N.Y. and back in a day.
Call Rocco at Connecticut Mustang in Bridgeport.

Just take in your existing mount and your parts store should have a picture book with measurements for you to compare to. I know Napa use to and CSK (Checker, Schucks, Kragen) Auto use to aswell.

You might find that the only difference between your original mount and another with similiar dimensions is that the provision (flange on the mount itself) to mount the factory exhaust mount is not there.

An attitude at a Napa store?

I'd remind them who the paying customer was!
