So I have a 91 Fox body (originally auto 4 cylinder) swapped to 5 speed v8 by previous owner. Unfortunately car was totalled when I was in an accident. I bought a 92 auto 4 cylinder and I took all the parts from the 91and put them on the 92 chassis. Now my transmission sits too high and hits the center console. It was perfect on the 91chassis that was totaled. If I take off the mount and cross member it goes down a bit but when I mount everything back it pushes the transmission back up. The only solution I see is a shorter mount
