I have a 2000 V-6 with automatic transmission. In the last month or so I noticed it seems to wind out or surge at about 30 miles per hour. This is when I'm accelerating. I bought this car brand new from a local dealer. Anybody else having this problem? Any ideas?

difine surging better? like its trying to shift but cant? are you sure its the tranny and not the motor possibly missing or something?

you should drain the tranny fluid every year and change the filter (15k miles) old fluid and heat is the major killers of the auto.
