my transmission took a crap and was wondering a few good websites to get a good but kinnda cheap transmission any help will be appreciated i have a 86 5.0
Buddy I am in your boat.. Unfortunatly trannys are the weakest link with our cars, and the pricing for them are down right outragous these days.. If you are relatively stock, and dont beat on the car too much, you should be able to get buy for a while on a cheap rebuild for 400-600 bucks.. If money is a major factor then the T5 is not a horrible tranny for up to around 300 RWHP as long as your not at the track everyday, but thats if you just drive it... I am crying because I only have the $2000 tremec and bellhousing option going for me... :-( what happend to the days of being able to get a 3550 for $1300....
