tree sapp removal

you might be screwed. if it comes off i think it might leave a mark. back when i lived in cali we cut out pine tree out of our front lawn to prevent getting sapp on our cars. there could be a way to get it off ok, but im not sure

I think it was wd-40 or grease and wax pre-cleaner that I used. Took it right off, I don't like to put alot of scrubbing into something so I tried things until I found something that would wipe it off. If its discolored use some detailing clay and clean up the area, then buff it out.

my mom's car was covered in sap. i was going to clean it for her one day, and i was out there for 2 hours w/bug and tar remover and got only half of the hood done. later she tried some greased lightning and she said all she had to do was wipe the sap off with a rag then. i haven't read the label on it, but you can do what you want. (yes, that was my disclaimer statement) :D just telling you that she said it works on sap, and well, she still has the finish on her car, so i guess it can't be that bad....i dunno...
