Tremic TKO???

Hey i have a tremic tko transmition in my 98 stang. I replaced the clutch with a centerforce dual friction clutch. The clutch worked fine for the first 1000 miles or so but now the clutch won't fully disinguage making it very hard to shift and it can't be good for the trans. Centerforce told me to send back the clutch so they can look at it but it will most likely just be a waste of time. I was wondering if anyone had the tko trans. and what are some good clutches for them cause i can't really find any. thanks for your time.

yea, we've adjusted it many times and replaced it twice, we know thats not the problem...

Where did you have them? I have this Centerforce Clutch that has good quality. It’s now 2000 miles running and yet not giving me any problem. There are some dealers who don’t check the quality but there are also those who have the good ones. Maybe you just have to change your dealer or contact your present source, it might just be something else. Wasn’t there any warranty with it upon purchase?

yea, there was a 90 day warranty, however it worked great those 90 days. As far as the dealer goes im not entirely sure. We would be sending it back to the centforce factory.

That's really disappointing. It seems that they just know that it'll work fine just until 90 days.
