Triax vs UPR vs Pro 5.0

I'll vote Pro 5.0, but i've never 'owned' any of the 3. I've driven the Pro though, and they're worlds apart from stockers. The arm actually feels LONG to me, 'cause i've got a funky little arm on my Tremec shifter....take your stock arm and cut it right where the first bend starts from the very bottom, then cut the top part about 1/2 inch down from the threads where the ball goes on, then weld the 2 together and you've got my shifter arm. It's a loner from a friend since i didnt have the cash for a shifter when i got my Tremec, but i've actually grown on it a lot after driving with it. It's about the shortest throw i've ever driven but you've gotta reach for it more than i'd prefer.

Thanks for the input everyone, I actually picked up the upr one last night for 150.00 and I got their extreme adjustable handle for free also. Now i can use the money i saved to replace the water pump that went out last night while I was test driving the shifter.

UPR but looking for a new shorter boot

I put in the Blu Thunder a few months ago and love. Especially after driving it for a while and then driving my buddies new Mach1. Man are his throws long and sloppy. But like Illkreations said I hate have the stock leather boot covering up the billet stick because of it's looks. I popped the O-ring out of the top of the boot that goes between the stick and knob and then put a small slit in the seam on the front. Then fold it in on itself and push it down around the bottem of the shifter.
Has anyone tried to use a universal floor rubber shifter boot that used to come on all the 60-70's muscle cars? The hole for the shifter is pretty small and I'm sure it could be trimmed to fit under a billet aluminum bezel.
Somebody out there could probably make one themselves and try it out.
