Well i have the whole engine taken apart for the gaskets and im at the part right now where it will be easy to swap out my stage one cam for a stage two cam. Do you think its worth it or should i stay with the stage one?
347 with Trick flow TW heads, Trick Flow Intake, Long tubes,1.6rockers, 70mm TB, C&l Pipe 24# injectors, also the Trickflow Stage one Cam

Im just wondering should I swap out the cams and do you think it will make that much of a difference in the two

here are the specs on the two cams

TFS-51402000

Good idle, strong midrange power. Aftermarket intake, heads, and headers recommended. Requires modified mass airflow.
Compression: 9:1 minimum

221°/225°

.312/.319

.499/.510

112°
TFS-51402001

Fair idle, good midrange power. 2,500-3,000 rpm stall converter or five-speed recommended.
Compression: 9.5:1 minimum

224°/232°

.339/.352

.542/.563

112°

Neither!!

Get a cam to support a s/c 347.

Just be careful and keep the rev's low if its a stock block combo.

Ok cool. That changes things a lot!

What size exhaust? Which trickflow manifold is this?

What are your goals and expectations? How high you wanna rev?

reason i asked on the stage one or two is i have a stage two sittin in the garage and well the stage one is already in the car. on a dyno pull with my settings all jacked up on the chip it was 280 and 333 which wasnt right since my chip was on the second setting not the first. i just want to know if its worth swaping the cams or just leave the stage one in the car

Well it really matters what intake you have as mentioned earlier. If you have a cam that supports 2500-6500rpm as a powerband and only have the street intake which is idle-5500 then you aren't going to get your full potential. I personally think the TFS S1 cam is way too small for anything I'd put my money into for a 347.
