the trickflow intake I bought (street heat) I asked the salesman to include everything I would need for install...i.e. gaskets and whatnot and I was utterly shocked cause I thought for sure this would require an adaptor but he kept saying that it would fit the stock 65mm throttle body without an adaptor...is this true and if I do need an adaptor could you provide a part number..

the throttle body will go on...but our cars have a 45 degree bend built in to the stock intake. the aftermarket intakes don't have this, most are/were designed for the earlier cars without the bend, hence the need for an adapter. Summit part #tfs-515osn95, $89.95. some guys on here swap over to the old style, apparently some performance to be had. Good luck

The only gaskets I got for my intake are the back plate and upper to lower (running an eddy performer) and everything is working fine. I got felpro 1250 lower intake gasket from discount autoparts so if your intake comes with a lower intake gasket and its paper... thats the one you might need to replace.

yeah the guys was obviously stupid I knew they weren't 65 I was just telling you what he told me which included 65 mm as being stock...the guys was obviously an idiot...I said dude I AM going to need an adaptor he's like nah...wow! I thought summit racing had better customer service.

not to good with computers, don't know if that PM went through, but you won't need a new hood. the strut tower brace will have to go though, just sell it to a V-6 guy, shouldn't notice a difference in driving. anything else just ask, later
