I would get it, if it is a good price definitely get it. If it's the box intake you may lose too much low end torque for anyones liking, but the normal intake with runners should be fine. Granted it will be a little big for your setup but I think you should still notice a gain and set yourself up for the future. You can also probably make some of your money back by selling your old cobra intake.

well i just talked to the guy and he said that part number he just grabbed off summite to give ppl a reference its actually "track heat tfs sbf efi 2u"

thats what it says on the upper manifold.and ive been looking up that part number and the only thing that comes up is the track heat manifold.

im going to keep searching.anybody have a "r" manifold on hand to double check???

If it's already done, then it's too late, but a Cobra intake is better than the track heat for the combination you currently have, IMO. Track heat is not going to make the kind of power down low that the cobra will. Porting the lower Cobra will yield some decent returns. The problem with the Track Heat, and especially the R, is that they're focused on higher RPM and in the R's case more cubes. I don't think you'll notice much of a difference on a stock Cobra, and I think you'd notice a loss of performance vs. a ported-lower Cobra. But, good luck.
