I'm thinking about ripping the trim off my car, its missing part of it as it is and old black trim on a white car stands out like a sore thumb. I personally think the car would look alot sleeker without it. My only question is how would you go about the "trim" that is part of the bumpers? For the body I was going to use body filler/fiberglass to get rid of the valley that is behind the trim and paint over it, but how would one go about removing the fake trim from the bumpers? I was thinking sawzall that off and make a fiberglass/filler sandwich around the hole, but are then some better ways to go about doing that? To elaborate on what I mean by that, I mean put fiberglass behind the bumper on the inside, filler in the hole, sand down, and fiberglass over that.
On a related note, how do you think a GT bumper mated to a notchback would look?
