No, it wasnt me racing last weekend, I ended up taking pics of my dad's Nova last weekend while he made some of his liscensing (sp) passes to get his NHRA lisenceso he can run faster than 9.99 legally. It was a very humid day, and he was toying with the 9's all day running 10.07, 10.09, 10.06, etc, so he still needs to make (2) sub-9 second passes before he is certified. Heres a few pics from the day:

Cool car! IIRC, this one got the Chevelle's BB? You guys still have that car?



And that little 2 door Blazer out there just looks mean.

Very nice and clean looking Nova. Hope he gets his 9 Sec Lic., good luck to him.

Good memory! Yes this has the BBC from the Chevelle, which we still have which now contains a SBC and a t-5 from a Trans-Am. The Chevelle is back to a street car, in fact we took it for a ride yesterday, and the Nova is obviously strictly a race car. This hot, humid air is aweful for making good passes, but he has ran in the 9.90's before with nothing changed in the car, so hopefully we'll get a nice cool day, and he can finish off his lisence passes.
