True Dual Confusion!!!

All i gotta figure out is how best to get true duals with my v6

will an h-pipe bolt right up to my headers and then i can go with reg flowmaster duals exhaust back?

thats not true duals if you have an H pipe i don't believe

I think its kind of a relative term, but most people still consider a mid pipe true duals.

As long as there are two continuous paths for the exhaust to take from the engine to the exhaust exit it's considered true duals, doesn't matter if there's an H or X in there. If it merges into one pipe at any point, it's not true duals anymore.

yeah , thats true i know with an h or x it would be true duals, but i wanna know if the h will bolt up to the headers where the factory y pipe does directly

mac has a great h-pipe for you v6 it is part# c3384 $399.50 for the catalytic pipe and part# 34038 $169.50 for the off road h-pipe. the mac cat back system that will bolt you correctly to these h-pipes is part#TK2960 for $299.50. this is a great sounding and looking system for your car and will bolt up to your factory headers. the only other things you will need is a passenger side muffler hanger bracket and tailpipe hanger from a 97 4.6L v8 mustang. i hope this helps

ok an off road H is going to make it 3-4 times louder. save you gas money also. but its illlegal..dont get caught. the MAC systems are very nice
